Simple mozilla support for Inotes = multi platform support over every major platform. Being able to reach more customers then MS is a good thing and something tangible you can market.

With Mozilla support for intoes Domino can truly claim to be the best platform agnostic Corporate Mail and Application Service you can buy. If a company want to got to Linux desktops Domino won't care, if you want to get rid of MS all together Domino will help you do that. In the future if your technology focus changes Domino won't mind that either. That is something MS will never be able to do.

Why would Lotus/IBM not want to position itself as this?
